The Colby African Society (CAS) serves as a cultural and social support base for all students of African descent. We aim to celebrate African cultures by creating a platform on which all students interested in Africa can closely interact with each other and also share their thoughts and experiences with the Colby community at large.

The Colby African Society, continuously strives to be a home for everyone in the club regardless of any affiliations. The purpose of CAS is to build connections amongst students of African origin and to foster relationships with those that aren’t from the continent. Through our programming (Africa Week, CAS Soiree, Fashion Show, etc..) we seek to share our culture with the wider school community. By way of collaboration and intentional meetings, the Colby African Society prides itself on creating a space that is both equitable and inclusive for everyone that takes part
