Black Owned Maine is proud to launch start-up funding for Maine-based, Black businesses, nonprofits, and artists new to monetization. Applicants must be within their first two years of business. Awards will not exceed $1,000 and applicants must have an annual operating budget of under $50,000. The deadline to apply is March 30 and applicants will be notified of the award decision by April 15, at the latest.
